A 22-year-old Hemet man accused of assaulting a teenage girl at a Riverside community center was arrested, police announced Thursday, May 26. The incident happened on April 15 at 2:26 p.m. at Orange Terrace Park Community Center at 20010 Orange Terrace Parkway, the Riverside Police Department said in a news release. Police declined to release further details into the nature of the assault. Through tips from the community, police were able to identify Robert Bates as the suspect, authorities said.
