Kiwanis Club of Riverside will celebrate 100th anniversary

The Kiwanis Club of Riverside, established in 1921, will celebrate 100 years of community service with a gala dinner party 6-9 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Victoria Club in Riverside. The public is encouraged to attend. Tickets are $100, with a portion of the ticket price representing a donation to the club’s welfare foundation to help fund future philanthropic activities. One example of the club’s community service is its “adoption” of Longfellow Elementary School in Riverside nearly 30 years ago.
