Report: Peloton Activist Investor Plans Push to Fire CEO, Seek Sale

If activist investor Blackwells Capital has its way, Peloton would fire its chief executive John Foley and look at a sale, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported Sunday (Jan. 23). Blackwells has under 5% stake in Peloton, and the investor is prepared to push for the firing of Foley, unnamed sources told the WSJ. This comes as the stationary-bike maker’s stock has fallen over 80% from its all-time high. It is currently trading below its September 2019 initial public offering (IPO) price.
