Our aim is to inspire and show professional style does not have to mean boring and without personality. We hope you enjoy our 9 to 5 Style!

I am sorry for the absence over the past couple of weeks. The last time I posted Brian was on a long weekend trip with Brooks – a father-son trip they had been planning for months to ride their motorcycles together in the northeast Georgia mountains and Tennessee. While on that trip Brian had an accident on his bike and it has been a very long and trying two weeks for all of us. I am not going to go into details other than to say he was hospitalized for a week and a half and underwent two major surgeries. It feels good for both of us to finally be home and we are easing into the new normal that will be our lives the next few months.

This month Fonda thought we should share some fall flats. I selected my very favorite flats – my rose gold satin mules. I just adore these shoes and look for any opportunity to wear them. Y’all know I am all about wearing heels, but I have to admit over the past few months I have been adding more and more flats to my wardrobe. It seems there are so many more cute options out there, or maybe I am just noticing them more as I realize I need to give my knees a break. Flats for the office do not have to be boring – look for interesting details and embellishments, as well as fun colors and patterns.

Still trying to see how things are going to shake out here time wise, but I feel sure I will be able to post at least once a week. I will share more as I figure some things out. Meanwhile, here’s to a new week.
