The Winter Light Festival is here and it has taken over our city with a bunch of events that will keep you inspired, moving and grooving all weekend long. Read on to find out more.

Let go of gravity and grab some air on these sprawling wall-to-wall trampoline courts. Your kids can challenge a friend or show off their inner acrobat. Reach new heights while flipping and jumping on the biggest trampoline court in the park. Event Details.

Winter Light Festival at Earth Space PDX

Winter Light festival is always such a bright spot in the darkest time of year. Earth Space PDX will be amplifying the voices of many talented artists, musicians, and poets and giving the community a creative space to gather and connect! Portland Winter Light Festival

Grey days, bright nights! The Portland Winter Light Festival is an outdoor event celebrating winter and community through creative art installations, brilliant video projections, kinetic sculptures, and transformative placemaking. This free, open-air, decentralized citywide event will feature anchor installations in several parts of Portland and pop-up art in windows, businesses, and unusual spaces, encouraging guests to explore the city to view art while allowing for equitable access for more families and guests. Illuminated Bike Ride

This event is part of Portland Winter Light Festival 2022 and is a free, all ages, outdoor event! Put on your most fabulous mask, decorate your bike with your brightest lights, and bring your friends and family down for the  first Illuminated Bike Ride in two years! Event Details.

Fun Luv’n Silent Disco at PDXWLF

Put on your most fabulous mask, lace up your dancing shoes, and bring your friends and family down for the FUN LUV’N Silent Disco at the Electric Blocks (SE 2nd & Clay). Event Details.

Portland Winter Light Festival at Oaks

Oaks Park will once again be part of the Portland Winter Light Festival! Their spectacular midway lights will be on from 6-10 p.m. daily. Enjoy a free walk through the park and take in the artistry of their ride lights! The rink cafe will be open at 7 p.m. Tue.-Sun. Stop in for a treat! Event Details.

Chinese Garden Lunar New Year

While some celebrations of the Lunar New Year span only 7 days, the Lan Su Chinese Garden celebrates the Chinese New Year for two whole weeks! That’s more than enough time to wrangle the kids into their winter gear and step out for the Pacific Northwest’s largest Lunar New Year celebration! Think lanterns and light displays, a dancing dragon and percussion sounds galore! This year’s festival will be featuring the Portland Lee’s Association Dragon & Lion Dance, putting on the dancing dragon march for the first time in years! Be sure to mitten up those hands and slip on warm socks before heading over to enjoy a night of illumination and celebration! Event Details.
