Fireworks on the Decatur Square this Sunday, July 4th

Posted by admin on

It’s back! The City of Decatur will hold its annual fireworks display, with a few modifications, on Sunday, July 4, 2021.

The fireworks display will begin at dark, approximately 9 p.m. and last approximately 20 minutes.

They will be launched from the top of the Dekalb Courthouse Parking Deck. The streets in the fallout zone will be closed to pedestrians and traffic.

The city encourages you to find a safe and socially distant place to enjoy the display, whether that means coming downtown or finding an unobstructed view nearby.

Two other annual traditions — the Pied Piper Parade and the Concert on the Square — are not happening in 2021.
