There are dozens of farmers markets in metro Atlanta. You can find one every day of the week, and nearly every week of the year. Who doesn’t love to browse the stalls while munching on a freshly baked pastry?

This year, things are a little different with Atlanta farmers markets.

Some markets shut down their spring season, and others are operating with certain safety measures in place. We’re listing as much info as we have, but you should click through to a market’s website to verify hours and be aware of any new policies in place.

Bonus: Some Atlanta-area farmers markets participate in the Georgia Fresh for Less program, which matches SNAP/EBT benefits, dollar for dollar.

This means that when you spend $10 via your SNAP/EBT card, you’ll get another $10 in credit to spend on fresh food. How awesome is that?

To participate in Georgia Fresh For Less:
Come to the market’s information tent. Swipe your EBT card. You’ll receive tokens for the amount swiped, and a matching amount of green tokens to be spent on fruits and veggies.

List of Metro Atlanta Area Farmers Markets
Updated for 2020!

Our list is organized by days of the week — to get to the popular Saturday markets, just keep scrolling.

Note that some markets are open on multiple days.

The list includes markets not just in Atlanta, but throughout the extended metro area.

It was last updated on May 13, 2020. Remember to check the current status line just under the market’s name, and to click through for details.

Have we missed your favorite farmers market? Just drop us a line at editor@atlantaonthecheap.com and we’ll add it!
